All the Culinary Fun of the Schueberfouer – Fish Dinner at Friture Armand, 28 August, 2025

On 28 August a total of 22 Alumni from the Oxford and Cambridge Societies – Light Blues in the majority! – gathered once again at Friture Armand for the annual Fish Dinner. This is a firm tradition now as we take part in one of the important events in the Luxembourg calendar. As always, several of us enthusiatically and skilfully tackled the challenge of negotiating the anatomy of the deep-fried and battered whole haddock without getting mouthfuls of bones, while others contented themselves with the fillet of cod, or the other dishes on offer such as sausages and potato salad and indeed even steak de cheval!

A thoroughly enjoyable evening for all concerned. We will be back again in 2026!
